Traditional Renaissance Performers & Instrumentalists

Though the picture above may look like a painting from the 1500s, it's an actual photo of our full Renaissance Troupe. Traditional Renaissance music is played on several instruments, including flutes, pipes, percussion, hurdy gurdy, lute, violin, mandolin, oboe, bassoon, etc. Performers dress in the style shown here to create a period atmosphere. Any number of players and singers can be combined for your event. They can perform in a single location or stroll around while playing.

For the ancient Italian sound and look, we also have "I Giullari di Piazza," a traditional, fully costumed ensemble evoking the style of the Italian Renaissance.
